Page <br /> <br />Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered <br />EnGineer or Architect. For trusses manufactured by an approved <br />fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings available at the <br />construction site for the framing inspection. All job site cutting or <br />modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br />engineer's design calculations and drawings. If trusses are to be built <br />at the job site, submit the engineer's design and construction plans to <br />the Marion County Building Department prior to start of construction and <br />have the approved drawings available at the site for the framing <br />inspection. <br /> <br />Water heaters shall be anchored or strapped to resist horizontal <br />displacement due to earthquake motion~ (P-1310 (e)) <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to b~ an approval of a violation of the provisions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction.
