This review <br />is for compliance with the provisions of the Oregon State Structural Specialty <br />Code ('91 UBC) 1993 Edition. <br /> <br />This review is not intended to prohibit the building inspector from requesting <br />an evaluation of the acceptability of existing structural members that may <br />appear to be unsafe. Existing construction not specifically detailed in the <br />plans and structural calculations is beyond the scope of this review. <br /> <br />The plans s~bmitted do not show enough information for a structural plan <br />review of the pre-engineered metal building. Submit structural plans <br />and calculations that show frame dimensions (member depth, plata width <br />and thickness, etc.) and connection details. Include en~wall details <br />and X-bracing_ <br />(W = 41'; L = 40'; H = ?'; BAY ~ 19') <br />(SNOW = 2S PSF; WIXTD = 80 MPH Exp. C) <br /> <br />A one-hour fire-resistive occupancy separation is required between the <br />boiler area and the shop/warehouse area. Ail openings in the separation <br />shall be protected by a fire assembly having a one-hour fire-protection <br />rating_ (803(d) Table NO. 5-~) <br /> <br />Fire doors, fire windows and fire dampers shall have a factory applied <br />label or other identification showing the fire protection rating. <br />(4306 (c)) <br /> <br />Warehouses and factories or workshops using materials not highly <br />flammable or combustible are classified as Group B Division 2 <br />Occupancies (B-2). Based on the limited information submitted with the <br />plans, this building has been classed as a B-2 Occupancy.
