Contact Marion County Building Inspection if this <br />occupancy classification is not appropriate to your intended use o£ the <br />facility. (701) <br /> <br />Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or <br />any special knowledge or effort. Manually operated edge or surface <br />bolts are prohibited. (3304(c)) <br /> <br />Every building shall have sanitary fixtures installed as required by <br />Section 510 and Table NO. 5-E. where sanitary fixtures are located in <br />an adjacent building on the same property, toilet facilities may be <br />omitted in the new building. (3112) <br /> <br />Buildings or structures which are heated or cooled and those whose peak <br />design rate of energy usage is more than one watt per square foot or 3.4 <br />BTU per hour per square foot of floor area are required to be insulated <br />and designed to comply with the requirements of Chapter 53 on ENERGY <br />CONSERVATION. <br /> <br />Portable fire extinguishers shall be provided and installed as required <br />by applicable standards and as directed by the authority having <br />jurisdiction. (U.F.C. 10.505; U.F.C. Std. No. 10-1) <br /> <br />A water supply sufficient to control a potential fire is required. See <br />Appendix I~-A of the Uniform Fire Code. Contact the local fire <br />department for requirements. The chief shall establish the minimum <br />residual pressure and flow duration when determining fire flow.
