T9S RllW W.i <br />Site # 2302 <br /> <br />Dear ~r- <br /> <br />On November 8, 1988. we performed a site evaluation on the subje( <br />property as per your reqUest of September 26, 1988. <br /> <br />We regret to inform you t~at yoUr site does not meet the minimum <br />criteria for installation of a standard On-site sewage disposal <br />system due to the presence of soils with rapid or very rapid <br />permeability 18 to 36 inches below ground surface and a permanen' <br />water t=ble presently in evidence at 48-60 inches below the groul <br />surface. Due to the extended dry season we ere experiencing, we <br />would believe the normal winter high water table would be <br />considerably higher later in ~he season. <br /> <br />The pertinent administrative :L"'ules are: <br /> <br />OAR 340-71-220(2)(c) which states: <br /> <br />"Soil with rapid or very rapid permeability shall <br />be thirty six (36) inches or more below the <br />ground surface. A mlnimu~ eighteen (18) ineh <br />separation shall be maintained between ~oil With <br />rapid or Very rapid permeability and the bottom <br />of the disposal trenches.', <br /> <br />Soils with rapid or very rapids permeability in your <br />circumstance.occurred at 18 inches deep in the easterly <br />test hole and 34 inches deep in the westerly test hole. <br /> <br />OAR 340-71-220(2) (b) which states: <br /> <br />"Water table levels mhall be predioted using <br />~conditlon~ associated with maturation.'
