September ~9~ 1993 APPLICANT~ BOB HOLT sITE NU~BR= 93-3172 SAND FILTER PLUS CAPPING FILL REPAIR Your site has been feund suitable for a SAND FILTER /kLTEI~NATI~ SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifisations shall apply to the installation of your septic system- 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum lic~uid capacity of 10,00 gallons, 2. The projected daily sewage flow for this progect is calculated at 450 qallons pe.r day. Based on ~oll sonditiens observed on this site, the disposal field will be sized at 50 lineal f~et Der 150 qallon~ of proJect~i daily sewage flew. A minimum of 150 lineal fee% of disposal field will be requir~ for your proposed develop- ment. The disposal trenches a~e constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed level (±1"} and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. 3. The disposal fleld shall be constructed with e~~tion with a minimum trench depth of 19 ~ncbes and a maximum trench depth of 12 ..inches. There must be at least 16 inch,! of baekfill ever the top of the gravel, measured from the hatural ground surface. The sand filter system shall be designed and operated as per OAR 340-71-290 through 340-71-305- Detailed plans fo~ the system must be submitted prior to permit issuance. A building permit is required if a site b~ilt concrete box is used as the sand filter container. A paraphlet is available in OUN 0ffise which details the requirements for a Sand filter system, capping fill is ~equired with this system. The sySte~ shall be as indicated on the attached Capping Fill construction detail A constructed sheet, An effluent lift pump may b~ necessary to construct the disposal field in the approved area and at the correct depth, This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must be located in the immediate a~ea of the test pits unless otherwise autho- rized by this office. A sew ~tte evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. SFECI;~L C~9NDITION$: The existing septic tank must be pumped and properly abandoned, Observe all normal s~tback/Separation distances. Note the capping fill part of this installation and the requirement for dTy soil summe~ season construction. Plans for the repair should be ~ubmitted for =eview as soon as possible, Permits cannot be issued for the repair prior to the plan review and approval.
