Locate the septic system drainfield in the area of the upper <br /> test pit and as far upslope as the west property line and <br /> the required curtain drain will allow, <br />5. The septic system must be staked out on the property prior <br /> to permit issuance. Both the initial drainfield (450') and <br /> the future sand filter replacement drainfield (150') must be <br /> staked. The stakeout must be reviewed and approved by this <br /> officeprior to issuing the permit. <br />6. REDUNDANT systems are installed to serve single family <br /> dwellings on lots or parcels created prior to January 1,1974 <br /> where there is insufficient area to install a standard <br /> system. The system consists of two complete drainfields. <br /> Each drainfield must be adequate in size to accommodate the <br /> daily sewage flow from thedwelling. The system must be <br /> designed to alternate between the two drainfields with the <br /> use of a diversion valve. <br /> <br /> <br />
