North Marion Primary School <br />OSFM Review Check <br /> <br />MBO9905258PRIMFA <br /> <br />5) Provide additional manual fire alarm boxes (pull stations) at exit door from the project room <br /> (Sheet E3.30); preschool rooms (Sheet 3.31). (UFC 1007.3.3.1 no. 1. At every exit from <br /> every level.). <br /> <br />6) Provide additional visual alarms at west side of cross-corridor door near first grade classroom <br /> and resource room, at lobby outside first grade classrooms (Sheet 3.30) and at corridor on <br /> west side of door outside secretary/reception (Sheet 3.31). Locate visual appliance within 15 <br /> feet of end of corridor. Where there is an interruption in the concentrated viewing path, such <br /> as a fire door, etc., the area shall be considered as a separate corridor. (NFPA 72, 6-4.4.2.2). <br /> <br />7) Provide visual alarm devices in all public- and common-use areas, including toilet rooms and <br /> bathing facilities; hallways; and lobbies. (UFC 1007.3.3.3.4 Visual Alarms). This includes, <br /> but is not limited to, Sheet E3.30 toilet rooms H23 and H40, 1-20,21,24, Faculty <br /> lounge/lunchroom 1-19. Room S.L.P. 1-17 appears to be the only large room with no visual <br /> alarms shown. <br /> <br />8) Provide specifications, shop drawings, and power supply calculations for review. <br /> <br />9) Provide written documentation of testing, in accordance with NFPA 72, Sec. 1-7, prior to <br /> calling for final inspection. <br /> <br />10) CONTACT DEPUTY JASON CANE, (503)-373-1540, EXT. 250, TO SCHEDULE A <br /> FINAL INSPECTION OF THE ABOVE ALARM SYSTEM. <br /> <br />11) This review is based on the information provided by the applicant and is <br /> subject to final inspection of the installed system. It is the responsibility of the <br /> applicant to comply with all provisions of the applicable State of Oregon laws <br /> and regulations and all applicable local laws and regulations.
