Option 3 evolved from discussions with the District Attomey when it was determined that consolidation of all District Attomey functions could vastly improve efficiency and service delivery. Again, greater occupancy of the building by ta~~-exempt county offices would also reduce the interest rate on bonds. Tlus option increased the county's estimated space needs to 87,837 nsf. With the transit district anticipating a need for 23,770 ns~ this leaves appro~mately 14,000 nsf for expansion space.
