<br />Proposals are requested from artists interested in a commission for three-dimensional or lo~~~
<br />relieE, site-specific art~~~ork to be located at an outdoor site and interior site of Cocrrthot~se
<br />Sqi~c~re located in Salem, Oregon. Primary funding for this project totals S58,000 and is made
<br />available through the Federal Transit Administration's policl~ on art in public transit facilities.
<br />Note: A~vard ~vill be subject to a contract ~vhich ~~~Il indude certain terms and provisions
<br />required by state and federal law
<br />Tl~is projecc is open to ~~sual anists or teams of anists ~~~ho reside in Oregon, 1~1~asl~ington,
<br />California, Idaho, I~1ontana, Arizona, or Ne«~ 1~lexico.

<br />This budget includes expenses for artists' fees, labor and materials, tra~~el, installation,
<br />documentation, insurance, and other related costs. A portion of the budget ma~~ be used for
<br />cravel of anists selected for an inte»~ie~~•. A macching proposal for an additional S~3,000 is
<br />~ending. Results ~~~11 be l~~o~~~n ~~•hen finalists are selected.

<br />art project ~~~thin the Courthouse Square em~ronment? (~0 points)
<br />Tl~e PAAC ~~~ll select one or more artists to complete the Art in Counhouse Square based on the
<br />inte~~~e~~: Tl~e PAAC is not required to commission ~~•orlc fi-om submitting artists, and it resen~es
<br />the ~ight to im~te an aiiist ~~•ho has not applied if applications do not meet their standard.
