1 <br />_~ <br />J <br />~ Marion County Facilities Master Plan <br />1' Signage There is no internal signage or way finding, as this is not a public <br />accommodation none is necessary. <br />Artwork . There is no artwork in this facility with the exception of a wall showing <br />signatures and inscriptions &om artists that performed at the original Salem <br />Theater. <br />CIRCULATION <br />Stairwell A stairwell does not e~dst in this building. <br />Elevator There are no elevators in this building. <br />Corridors There are no comdors in this building. <br />STRUCTURAL <br />~ The single story building with an attached open structure is currently being <br />used for file storage and wvered pazking. The exterior walls are constructed <br />' of concrete block with poured concrete pilasters. ~Vood. trusses with rod <br />=~ tension ties clear span the short direction of the building supported by the <br />pil~sters. The open stiucture has poured concrete columns supporti:;g a wood <br />roof. <br />J At this point it is unclear if the roof inembers are adequately connected and <br />if the walls and columns have required reinforcing. If de&ciencies exist, new <br />-'~( structural elements will be required for a code acceptable building. <br />J <br />I MECHANICAL <br />_~ The HVAC system is composed of heat pumps with gas au~ciliary heaters. <br />Ventilation is adequate for present use. <br />_~ Plumbing appears to be adequate and is limited to plumbing / toilet fixtures. <br />Major system remodel would be considered depending on usage, however it <br />appears adequate for present use. <br />~~ <br />Page 83 <br />~ <br />
