From: BOB MCCUNE (BMCCUNE)
To: MARION2:MCLAN(MPEARMINE)
Date: Thursday, August 25, 1994 1:56 pm
Subject: Court House Security -Reply -Reply
If the courts stayed in the Courthouse, the consultants figure we
would gradually remodel the building over the next 20 years as
they acquire additional judges and support staff.
This remodel would eventually take in 26,973 square feet. If we
figure the remodel at $65 per square foot, this would come to
approximately $1,750,000 in today's dollars. Adding another
$500k for overhead, the remodel would cost approximately
$2,250,000 (in today's dollars spread over the next 20 years).
I hope this is close enough for you because it is rather hard to
figure without knowing a schedule for additional judges and
staff.
CC: RCurtis, KRoudybush, RGrim, TLulay
