Item No. 2 of
this letter refers to a Traffic Management Plan or Traffic Impact Analysis robabl being required for
Courthouse Square.
We understand that some iype of analysis was carried out by either the County or Salem Transit District during
site selection. Pefiaps this should be brought fon~vard and reviewed to see if it will satisfy the City's
requirement. If this study does not fully satisfy the Ciiy's requirements, a study based on the requisite terms
of reference should be commissioned. We could assist you in locating a suitable firm or, altematively, Rich
Williams of Melvin Mar1c Development Co., a Land Use and Transportation Specialist, may be able to manage
the study.
Conducting this study during a time of project review seems appropriate and may ensure against hold-ups
during the permit stage.
Should you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely
;'
/
ard Lodder, A.IA.
Architect
LL:nd
cc: John Whittington, Project Co-Coordinator
9742.3A
