2_1 Petroleum-Contaminated Groundwater <br />As necessary, dewatering will be preformed to facilitate excavation of PCS. Petroleum <br />contaminated groundwater is to be pumped and temporary stored in a 6,500-gallon above <br />ground tank. Once full, the contaminated groundwater held in the tank will be picked up and <br />disposed of by an authorized disposal company (i.e., Oil Re-refining, Inc.). <br />2_2 Unsuitable Fill <br />As indicated in item 4 of the bid schedule, approximately 2,200 tons of unsuitable fill will be <br />transported to Browns Island Demolition Landfill. <br />2_3 Contaminated Material <br />As indicated in item 5 of the bid schedule, approximately 2,500 tons of contamianted material <br />will be transported to Riverbend Landfill located in McMinnville, Oregon. Tipping fees will be <br />paid directly by Marion County. <br />HEALTH AND SAFETY <br />A copy of BB&A's health and safety plan is included in Appendix A. <br />~ CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS <br />~ Corporate Licenses and Certifications <br />M BB&A, and the laboratory, drilling, and construction/remediation divisions of the company <br />operating under the assumed business names of Pacific Northwest Laboratories (PNL), Pacific <br />Northwest Drilling (PND), and Pacific Northwest Construction & Remediation (PNCR) <br />~ respectively, are licensed and certified to provide environmental consulting/engineering, <br />laboratory, drilling, and construction/remediation services in the states of Oregon, Washington, <br />~ Idaho, and California. BB&A is a resident bidder as defined by Oregon Revised Statutes <br />279.029. <br />~ Listed below are applicable corporate and individual licenses and certifications relevant to this <br />project. <br />~ Licenses issued to BB&A by the Ore on De artm <br />9 p ent of Environmental Quality (DEQ) include: <br />~ ~ UST Service Provider License No. 10974 <br />~ UST Soil Matrix Cleanup Provider License No. 10974 <br />~ <br />BID PROPOSAI <br />MARION COUNTY COURTHOUSE S~UARE <br />SEPTEMBER 18, 1997 Page 4 <br />
