Ail coils, air filters, and fans should be clean before testing and balancing is done and especially before baseline air quality tests are conducted. Credit 4: Design of Chemical Storage Areas Design all chemical storage and mixing areas for housekeeping products (both central storage facilities and janitors closets) to allow for secure product storage in spaces that have water in the chemical concentrate mixing areas, with drains plumbed for the appropriate disposal of liquid waste, separate outside venting, and negative pressure. All storage areas for housekeeping equipment and products should have separate exhausts vented to the outside and should be ventilated and operable under negative pressure. A consumption calculation based on demand calculation used to determine the fixture counts and piping sizes would provide this information. Credit 4: Water-Efficient Landscape Use only plants that are tolerant of climate, soils, and natural water availabiliry, and that do not receive watering from municipal potable water after a period of establishment is complete. • The plants listed on Sheet L1.0 are native to this climate, however, they may need to be watered after they are established.
