(A) contiguous with the right-of-way; or <br />(B) located 10 feet from the public right-of-way. <br />~ <br />This standard applies to the first 25 feet of building height only and only to streets <br />designated as Pedestrian, Shared Pedestrian or Shared Automobile Streets in the <br />Riverfront/Downtown Core Area Master Plan. Above 25 feet in height a building may <br />setback up to 10 feet from the public street right-of-way. <br />If a building is placed 10 feet from the public right-of-way, the area between the building <br />and the public right-of-way must be used to create a plaza, court or to accommodate an <br />arcade. In no case shall the area be used for storage other than temporary bicycle <br />parking. <br />Building facades facing any public street right-of-way designated as a Pedestrian, <br />Shared Pedestrian or Shared Automobile Street in the RiverfronbDowntown Core Area <br />Master Plan, should provide weafher protection above sidewalks in the form of awnings <br />or marquees appropriate to the design of the structure. <br />Unless specified elsewhere in these design standards, building facades adjacent to a <br />public street right-of-way designated as a Pedestrian, Shared Pedestrian or Shared <br />Automobile Street in the Riverfront/Downtown Core Area Master Plan, shall include <br />weather protection in the form of awnings or marquees along at least 90% of the length <br />of the ground floor building facade.
