Committee determuie design conditions and/or design parameters desired from <br />successful RFP ie. types of uses, height requirements, architectural compatibility, access <br />to transit mall,. security issues, parl~ng issues, service issues, construction timing, <br />contamination issues. <br />2. Committee discussion of FTA requirements and what effect, if any, they will have on the <br />RFP development and selection process. Also discussion of RFP timing and which <br />agency will take lead. <br />~ 3. Committee host meeting with development community to discuss what they would want <br />to see in an RFP for a project such as this with emphasis on creative flexibility and FTA <br />limitations. Discuss the committee's concepts from # 1 above. Discuss suggested RFP <br />timing. <br />4. Committee discussion of results of development meeting and dete~nuiation of suggested <br />criteria for inclusion in RFP. Determine timing recomrr~endation. <br />S. Preparation of draft RFP by Melvin Mark Co. in conjunction with Transit legal counsel. <br />6. Committee review of draft RFP and revision, if necessary by Melvin Mark/Transit legal. <br />7. Review of revised draft RFP by Joint Coordinating Team, including RFP timing issue. <br />8. Committee revisions based on JCT comments, if necessary by Melvin Mark/Transit <br />legal. <br />9. Submittal of suggested RFP to County and Transit Boards for approval and timing. <br />10. Commence RFP legal process in acxordance with approved timing. <br />• Page 1 <br />
