Any r~conriguration of the streets will require the ~ <br />cooperation and agreement of the City of Portland. <br />Goose Hollow Local Development Committee <br />To assist in maximizing the opportunities for development, the City, Tri-Met and the <br />Goose Hollow Foothill League Neighborhood Association (GHFL), eacn appointed a <br />representative to the Goose Hollow Local Develooment Committee (the Committee). <br />These representatives are joined by a fourth Committee member skilled in real estate <br />investment and development. A team of professional consultants assist the Committee. <br />The Committee will recommend to Tri-Met action on development team selection, the <br />development concept and development team agreements. Upon selection of a developer <br />and/or development team, Tri-Met will execute all agreements needed to allow and <br />require development of the site, including conveyance of the property for development. <br />See Appendix 5 for a description of Committee and Development Team 's roles. <br />Committee objectives for deve%pment <br />The Committee has developed the following objectives for development of this site: <br />• Maximize the impact of the public investment in the sites and the adjacent light <br />rail line <br />• Demonstrate successful urban housing and neighborhood business <br />developments on "infill sites" ~ <br />• Provide a fuller range of housing choices to accommodate the mix of people <br />who want to live in Goose Hollow <br />• Demonstrate innovative designs that benefit from transportation choices <br />including auto, mass transit, pedestrian and bicycle access <br />• Involve neighborhoods in planning and implementation activities that result in <br />desirable projects that are attractive to developers and that are enthusiastically <br />received by the market <br />• Forge public and private partnerships to meat demand for high quality <br />development within the City <br />~ <br />Rcqirest f~r Proposcrl~~ Pc1~e ? <br />
