Goose Hollow Local Development Committee To assist in maximizing the opportunities for development, the City, Tri-Met and the Goose Hollow Foothill League Neighborhood Association (GHFL), eacn appointed a representative to the Goose Hollow Local Develooment Committee (the Committee). These representatives are joined by a fourth Committee member skilled in real estate investment and development. A team of professional consultants assist the Committee. The Committee will recommend to Tri-Met action on development team selection, the development concept and development team agreements. Upon selection of a developer and/or development team, Tri-Met will execute all agreements needed to allow and require development of the site, including conveyance of the property for development. See Appendix 5 for a description of Committee and Development Team 's roles. Committee objectives for deve%pment The Committee has developed the following objectives for development of this site: • Maximize the impact of the public investment in the sites and the adjacent light rail line • Demonstrate successful urban housing and neighborhood business developments on "infill sites" ~ • Provide a fuller range of housing choices to accommodate the mix of people who want to live in Goose Hollow • Demonstrate innovative designs that benefit from transportation choices including auto, mass transit, pedestrian and bicycle access • Involve neighborhoods in planning and implementation activities that result in desirable projects that are attractive to developers and that are enthusiastically received by the market • Forge public and private partnerships to meat demand for high quality development within the City ~ Rcqirest f~r Proposcrl~~ Pc1~e ?
