2.3 Days and Hours of Service <br />CONTRACTOR will operate CherryLift service during the same hours and days as the DISTRICT's <br />fixed route service: 6:15 a.m. until 10:15 p.m. Monday through Friday; and, 7:15 a.m. until 10:15 p.m. <br />on Saturdays. The DISTRICT reserves the right to change the days and hours of service. <br />Passengers must be picked-up for departure to their final destination by 9:35 p.m. CONTRACTOR will <br />not operate CherryLift on Sundays or the following holidays: New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, and <br />Christmas Day. ~ <br />2.4 Service Area <br />CONTRACTOR will operate CherryLift in the same service area as the fixed schedule bus system. <br />Travel will be available for all eligible program participants within the Salem Area Mass Transit District <br />service area. , ~ <br />2.5 Trip Limits <br />CONTRACTOR will not impose any trip limits or trip purpose restrictions on the program participants. <br />CONTRACTOR may require program participants who travel beiween their origin and destination on a <br />daily basis to ride with program participants who travel at the same time interval. <br />2.6 Fare <br />Fares and methods of fare payment charged program participants and their personal care attendants <br />will be set by the DISTRICT. <br />. The DISTRICT may choose to alter fares during the course of the <br />contract. <br />CherryLift Fares at the start of this Contract: <br />• Program participant $1.50 per one-way trip <br />• Personal care attendant $0.00 per one-way trip <br />• Program participant guests $1.50 per one-way trip <br />• Program participanYs children $1.50 per one-way trip <br />~ 107 <br />CHERRYLIFT CONTRACT AGREEMENT #1296.
