-~= . - ed <br />. ~~d <br />et anel d- <br />Trans p <br />By Dan Bender <br />The Statesman Journal <br />Citizens and community lead- <br />ers simply could not reach con- <br />sensus on the best site for a bus <br />station in downtown Salem on <br />Wednesday. <br />The meeting of the Downtco ~n <br />Transit Center Advisory <br />mittee looked like a microcosm of <br />the past 15 years. <br />Committee Chairman Bill <br />Frey acknowledged the 25-mem- <br />ber committee's inability to <br />choose. <br />"Obviously, that didn't hap- <br />pen," he said.
