Acknowledging
that both the short time frame for action and "summer" could
have acted as obstacles to participation, your personal efforts
and commitment to making the effort move forward in a timely
fashion are hiqhly valued and will make a difference on this
project.
Enclosed is a copy of the report presented to the Board of
Directors at our August meeting. The Board opted to postpone
taking action on the preferred site until after the Marion
County election on a bond measure being decided upon by the
voters on September 19, 1995. That election will provide
additional guidance to the Board on which site to pursue.
The Salem-Keizer community has been well-served by your time
commitment to this process. Again, thank you for your
continued contribution to the community.
Sincerely,
~
6' 1 ~-t.r/~ _
Luis Caraballo, President
Board of Directors
CAH/DM/ac&tf895.dtc
Enclosure
