Rev. 7-17 ACTION: Leonard will request memoriali~ation of <br />commitments from PGE <br />7-3 David confirmed that there is no money earmarked for a security system. A~CTION: <br />Leonard will contact Bill McCune to get definition on security requirements so it can be <br />included in the Total Project Cost. <br />7-3 Byron expressed concern with the lack of coordination between the County~, Transit, <br />Leonard and Dave on data communications. <br />Demolition <br />7-10 The team discussed responsibility for the removal of the curbs. Dave understood that <br />Staton would leave the curbs in place and remove later. Kathleen indicated that this was <br />not in Staton's scope of work. MMDC. Rev. 7/17 Staton proposed a$5,800 change <br />order to return and remove the remaining curbs. It assumes minimal sawcutting of <br />monolithic curbs. R.G. indicated that the project will bare any cost of dam~ged streets <br />and care should be taken when removing curbs. <br />7-3 Leonard inquired about status of site after Staton is complete. Leonard wa~ted to know <br />where to start the specifications. Kathleen informed the group that three fe~t of the <br />buildings' walls would remain to prevent water from seeping. Curbs will remain in place <br />but the sidewalks and asphalt will be gone. Approx. 35% of the site will have basements <br />remaining. Rev. 7-10 Dan recommended that the foundations be removed' as part of <br />Staton's scope of work. Rev. 7-17 Kathleen presented Staton's bid of $$7,135 to <br />remove basements. Duration is two to three weeks. Byron asked whether 1~ve could leave <br />some slabs in place. The team asked for additional information / clarificatipn regarding <br />the proposal as it seemed high. ACTION: Bob McCune and Leonazd to field measure <br />depth of existing slabs. Kathleen to direct Staton to stop filling basements ~vith rubble <br />and ask for credit for not filling remaining basements. Staton to price cost bf removing <br />foundations and slabs higher than 10 ft. Dave to review pricing. <br />Architectural ~ <br />7-10 Ron asked about security considerations in the stairwells. ACTION: Randy and R.G. <br />will provide more definition on building access and security. <br />7-3 Ron expressed concern with size and number of restrooms. R.G. expressed concern with <br />distance from lease space. <br />Materials Testing <br />7-3 Randy was not aware who the County typically uses for materials testing. He would <br />prefer that this be bid anyway. ACTION: MMDC to solicit bids. <br />~ <br />
