~ Environmental Updates: Senator Building has a lot of asbestos in the outside kin. The FTA <br />~, has agreed to remove it. We are looking at about $300k for the abatement of the Se ator Building. <br />~ Dan reported that the cleanup level is within 1%. The asbestos levels of the Tic r Building are <br />nominal. It is mainly linoleum products and ceiling tiles in that building. The revie appraisals are <br />back on the buildings we are are acquiring. The sellers will not be responsible fo I the cost of the <br />clean up on the buildings. They are still negotiating on the tanks. ' <br />Dan reported that we will go over budget on environmental. The boring samples, wi I the exception <br />of the Chevron site, are good. There are still potential issues that may come up hen we begin <br />excavation. The petroleum levels are encouraging. I <br />Geo-Technical reports: Dan will have these tomorrow. We still need to o these on the <br />southwest and north sides of the block. There will be enough information to start on he excavation. <br />Kim said that we want the geo-tech on site. At this time, they are coming up with ri er rock. There <br />will be ongoing testing while the work is underway. If there are soft spots, they will ave to be dealt <br />with. <br />Contract: Curt asked if Arbuckle is going to contract with Dan, and Dan, in turn~~ contracts with <br />the county and transit. Bond counsel has said they would be more receptive if the co act are signed <br />with county and the architect. RG stated that he is concerned that this may negate the TA contracts. <br />Randy didn't think this would impact the FTA contracts. Curt said that bond couns 1 is concerned <br />with this also. Randy said that this is not a significant concern. The first step is getti g the attorneys <br />to wrap up the contract language.
