~ Landscape Partitions: The departments moving to the Annex have their own partitions. We
will supply them with any additional partitions. The movers will set up the partitions and modular
units that move as part of the departments' furnishings. Randy suggested that we ask the employees,
with staffassistance, to set up the partitions. We will move them out to the site. Once the carpeting
is cleaned, Dan will have tape laid down to define the parameters/boundaries of the departments.
ACTION: Elyn will ask departments to take the responsibility for identifying their partition needs
and have Facilities Management assist them with assembly if they need help.
Housing Authority: Housing Authority has elected to have their customers use the front entrance
to the building. They'll utilize partitions to direct the flow visitors to their offices. It was pointed out
that other departments may not know the layout of the building and how other departments are
utilizing their space.
ACTION: Dan will distribute a copy of the layout plans for the Annex to each department.
Copy Center: Randy asked Facilities Management to try to salvage some of the carpeting
from the Senator Building to use in the copy center and mail room to help reduce noise.
Warehouse: Solid Waste and the Extension Service have both asked to rent storage space in the
warehouse. Public Works is considering a modular unit for their file vault.
Rent Rate: Randy asked Elyn to work with Dan to get the calculations on the square footage of
occupancy to determine rental rates. Departments occupying the building will not be charged for
warehouse space. Public Works has agreed to pay $1.20sf.
ACTION: Elyn will determine the rental rates. Dan will provide square footage for each
departments.
Courthouse Square: Randy reported that there will be another meeting for the businesses and
residents located adjacent to the block.
