Richard's group shouldn't be required to work "in the basement". We are limited by height <br />limitations (lowest point 8 feet) in the parking structure. We will keep this as option if needed. <br />~ Currently there is not a plan to move Facilities Management into the new building. <br />ACTION: Richazd needs to be prepared to meet with Transit about combining mail/copy <br />center services and come up with a proposal later on in the process. <br />Elyn has a meeting scheduled with the relocation agent tomorrow morning. <br />Bob asked how many square feet are we looking at in the new structure and how many people? <br />The project is 178,000 gross squaze feet (28,000 gross square feet is retail), not including transit <br />mall portion. If County is doing phone service in the new building, what do I have to do to <br />extend courthouse service to new building? Facilities Management will try and recoup some <br />costs in Annex switch recently pwchased by possibly reselling. We also need to be able to take <br />care of county and transit capacity and any county growth. <br />After Randy left the meeting, a few items were discussed regarding past action assignments: <br />Mailboaes: Richard will check into purchasing 3 mail receptacles for the Annex. Elyn will <br />check with the parking lot owner on ability to set 2 in concrete in parking areas. Bob will check <br />on attaching one to the wall with the building owner. <br />Fencing: Public Works has requested fencing off an area to provide a secure area for their <br />~ vehicles. At previous meetings, it was determined that each department will be responsible for <br />covering costs of securing vehicles. Richard will work with Public Works on maybe sha.ring <br />this expense to provide security for their vehicles as well. Also need to check with compliance <br />for fire codes before this is done. <br />Conference Room in Warehouse: Discussion was held on moving the conference room that <br />Housing Authority uses for their public meetings (50 people) each week. The copy center has <br />to shut down for 1-1/2 to 2 hours because of noise. It was decided that they will try and work <br />axound this problem and Dan would look at an alternative site in the wazehouse and/or try and <br />buffer if possible. <br />Certificate of Occupancy of Anneg: This certificate will be issued when Mike is done with <br />all inspections. <br />Vending Machines: All vending machines must go through the Blind Commission or get their <br />agreement to add any new ones (i.e. quarter candy machines). <br />Need for additional space in Warehouse?: This is an unknown item at this time if they will <br />require more space at a later date. <br />Meeting Adjourned <br />~ <br />Page 4 <br />
