Pearmine
ADMINISTRATIVE
OFFICER
Ken Roudybush
~
MEMORANDUM
TO: Courthouse Square Interview Panel
~
FROM: Randy Curtis, Project Director %~
SUBJECT: Interview Process
DATE: May 3, 1996
Thank you for agreeing to serve on the interview panel for the Courthouse
Square project. Courthouse Square is an exciting proposal which
anticipates a partnership between local government and a private party who
will provide financing, design and development services.
On Wednesday, May 1, ~ve received two proposals. The applicants are SaBa
Investments of Richmond, B.C. Canada and The Prudential Real Estate
Professionals of Salem. In order for you to become more familiar with the
interview and selection process I have enclosed a copy of the Request for
Proposal (RFP). The RFP should be helpful in explaining the project and
the selection criteria (see page 8) which will be used by the interview panel.
Within the next week copies of each proposal will be delivered to you for
review. You will also be contacted regarding a planning meeting to be held
the week of May 13. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the
selection criteria and the process which will be used to select the private
developer for this project. Please bring your calendars to this meeting as we
will be setting tentative dates for the interviews. Based on comments I have
received from some panel members, I do not anticipate starting the
interviews before May 21.
C: Mike Mclaren
Senator Building • 220 High Street NE • Salem, Oregon 97301-3670
