Bob - to move forward...recorder...others would like to vote on the selection of these two
~ developers. Asked if Richard and Ann were in the position to or if they would prefer not.
Richard- that states his position....recorder...but with the assistance on on-line bond counsel, project
manager.
Ann - really agrees that we need the interim to fucus on the financial aspects and wants to feel very
comfortable when she speaks to the public regarding this decision.
Bob - he feels comfortable based on the proposals, both are pretty much the same, flexibility is
important, likes going local, and in this case it may be a relative term.
Ra.ndy -
Bob -(recorder...) local has a demonstrated interest in the community.
Asked if anyone would like to make a motion.
Gary offered to make a motion with the idea that if this is approved that the acknowledgment of the
count (recorder...) that issues that were in the RFP but were not clearly identified, with that makes
the
Mary second,
Motion is clea.r
Bob - discussion
Mary - would like to be clear that it help her make a decision to hear Maynard's information., but
still likes that idea that Prudential came into it wanting to be a long term partner owner.
Richa.rd - will not be supporting the motion, not a vote against the motion, but against the selection
of one of the two teams at this time, with additional information a clearer decision can be make.
Bob - other comments.
RG moved to board and diagramed the layout and emphasized the only piece not controlled by
public would be small, possibly another floor, based on the detertnination of what the market can
bear. Cannot see holding up the entire process over this little space. Based on this he is wiling to
move ahead.
Richard - what he further submitted is that he is putting the private sector back in Oregon. This
must be some level of equity, the point that this can come totally in the form the incorporation of
the Franklin building, can change some of the dynamics.
~
