6-27 MMDC inquired whether PGE has been apprised of the electrical needs ofthe project e.g. <br />power requirements and availability of services. Leonard indicated that PGE has been <br />involved from the beginning and there is no indication of a problem with c~pacity. Rev. <br />7-3 Dan inquired whether Civil has confirmed adequacy of services for ather utilities, <br />i.e. gas, water. Byron wanted to know whether we had anything in writing regarding <br />PGE's commitments, e.g. transformers. Leonard was not aware of anythi~lg in writing in <br />this regazd ACTION: Leonard to confirm with Westech on other services and Interface <br />on commitments. Rev. 7-17 ACTION: Leonard will request memoriali~ation of <br />commitments from PGE <br />7-3 David confirmed that there is no money earmarked for a security system. A~CTION: <br />Leonard will contact Bill McCune to get definition on security requiremenQs so it can be <br />included in the Total Project Cost. <br />7-3 Byron expressed concern with the lack of coordination between the County, Transit, <br />Leonard and Dave on data communications. <br />Demolition <br />7-24 Foundation walls demo: The sanitary line in alley is active and building walls in <br />basement are adjacent. The foundation walls should be left in place and netiv sewer <br />should be routed when construction begins. Staton will be on site August ~ Sth to begin <br />clean up. Discussed the cost of removing rubble, vs. filling- per proposal d~ted July 24~'. <br />The cost to remove rubble and the credit to cease filling basements appeareid <br />unreasonable. ACTION: Dave is to research proposal and call Kathleen. Kathleen <br />will review contract, Dan B. to review notes. <br />Architectural <br />7-24 The team needs to determine exactly how much lease space is anticipated. Use BOMA <br />Leasable Space Calculation guidelines. ACTION: Craig to provide latest BOMA Space <br />Calculation criteria. Leonard to calculate. <br />7-10 Ron asked about securiTy considerations in the stairwells. ACTION: Ran~ly and R.G. <br />will provide more definition on building access and security. <br />Materials Testing ~ <br />7-3 Randy was not aware who the County typically uses for materials testing. He would <br />prefer that this be bid anyway. ACTION: MMDC to solicit bids when appropriate. <br />NEW ISSUES <br />When will the bid documents (specs and drawings) be completed? <br />Responsiveness of Interface Engineering (Mechanical). <br />Ventilation of the bus mall is excluded from Interface and Arbuckle contracts. Whio will be <br />responsible for addressing potential ventilation problems in the bus mall? <br />~ <br />
