Status of Architect Contract <br />John Whittington noted the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is almost <br />finished reviewing the contract for form. After they finish Salem Area Transit can <br />then issue the contract. <br />a. In a meeting earlier today the architect agreed to define "hard costs" of <br />the project the same as "price". The FTA wanted to see the word price in <br />all of the agreements and the definition of hard cost will satisfy their <br />requirement. <br />~rr` <br />2. Streetscape Meeting with City of Salem <br />Mr. Whittington noted a meeting was held with himself and Leonard Lodder, <br />Craig Lewis, and Billy Wasson, with Bob Wells and Dick Hayden from the City <br />of Salem. The streetscape funding will be lined up on an intergovernmental <br />agreement based on a list of projects and costs from the design phase. City of <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
