Features of New Design <br />The new preferred design is a 5-story office building which has been downsized from <br />180,000 gsf to 151,000 gsf. The portion of the building that spanned over the west side <br />of the transit mall has been elim.inated. The 5-story building, located on the south side of <br />block, is reserved pri.marily for transit and county offices plus some expansion space. <br />The transit mall design and location remains unchanged. A one-story underground <br />parki.ng structure is included, but will only cover appro~umately 3/< of the block. The <br />northern side of block is reserved for private development. <br />All of the original key features of the project have been retained.
