Coordinate the preparation and processing of work-related submittals with the <br />pertormance of the work. Coordinate each separate submittal with other submittals and <br />related activities that require sequential activity. Coordinate the submittals of different <br />units of interrelated work so that one submittals will not be delayed by the necessity of <br />reviewing a related submittal. <br />b. Allow 2 weeks for the Architect/Engineer's initial processing of each submittal. Allow 1 <br />week for reprocessing each submittal. No extension of time will be authorized because <br />of failure to transmit submittals to the Architect/Engineer sufficiently in advance of the <br />work. Schedule submissions not less than 30 days before reviewed submittals will be <br />needed. <br />c. Contractor's Responsibility: <br />i. Review and approve shop drawings, project data and samples prior to <br />submission. Submittals which indicate less than full review by Contractor will be <br />retumed by Architect for Contractor's compliance. <br />ii. Verify field measurements, field construction criteria, catalog numbers and <br />similar data. Coordinate each submittal with requirements of work and of <br />Contract Documents. <br />d. ArchitecYs Duties: <br />i. Review submittals with reasonable promptness for design concept of project and <br />information given in Contract Documents. Review of separate item does not <br />constitute review of an assembly in which item functions. <br />10. Section 01342, Year 2000 Compliance: <br />a. Description of Work: <br />i. Equipment manufacturer's disclosure regarding the ability of any and all <br />computerized controllers, systems, or elements in other equipment covered in <br />this Contract to bridge transition of dates prior to, during, and after the year 2000 <br />as listed in this section. <br />b. Submittal Requirements: <br />i. Manufacturers of all equipment that utilizes embedded computer chips for time <br />control sequencing/monitoring shall provide written certification that such <br />equipment will continue to operate as specified before and after the dates listed <br />in this section. <br />c. Warranty: <br />i. Provide written warranty of each component to include work in this section, to <br />cover all testing and re-testing as may become necessary for one year past the <br />Contract final acceptance date. Any equipment, system, or element failing to <br />perform as directed in this section shall be repaired or replaced at no cost to the <br />Owner. <br />11. Section 01370, Schedule of Values: <br />a. Within ten (10) days after date of Owner's written Notice to Proceed, submit to Architect <br />a complete and accurate itemized schedule of values, showing a breakdown of all costs, <br />substantiated as required. <br />
