Industry Standards: <br />i. Applicability of Standards: Except where more explicit or stringent requirements <br />are written into the contract documents, applicable construction industry <br />standards have the same force and effect as if bound into or copied directly into <br />the contract documents. Such industry standards are made a part of the <br />contract documents by reference. individual specification sections indicate which <br />codes and standards the Contractor must keep available at the project site for <br />reference. <br />f. Governing Regulations/Authorities: <br />i. Trade Union Jurisdictions: The Contractor shall maintain, and shall require prime <br />subcontractors to maintain, complete cuRent information on jurisdictional <br />matters, regulations, actions and pending actions, as applicable to the Work. <br />Discuss new developments at appropriate project meetings at the ea~liest <br />feasible dates. Record information of relevance along with the actions agreed <br />upon. The manner in which contract documents have been organized and <br />subdivided is not intended to be an indication of jurisdictional or trade union <br />agreements. Assign and subcontract the work, and employ tradesmen and <br />laborers, in a manner which will not unduly risk jurisdictional disputes of a kind <br />which could resuft in conflicts, delays, claims and losses in the performance of <br />the Work. <br />7. Section 01220, Progress Meetings: <br />a. Pre-Construction Meeting: <br />i. Minimum Agenda: Distribute and discuss list of major subcontractors and <br />tentative construction schedule; designation of responsible personnel; processing <br />of field decisions and change orders; adequacy of distribution of Contract <br />Documents; submittal of shop drawings and product data; procedures for <br />maintaining record documents; use of premises including office, storage areas <br />and Owner's requirements; major equipment deliveries and priorities; <br />housekeeping procedures. <br />b. Progress Meetings: <br />i. Schedule regular meetings once a week on a date mutually agreed upon by the <br />Owner, Architect and Contractor. <br />8. Section 01310, Construction Schedules: <br />a. Provide projected construction schedules for entire work. Receive and incorporate into <br />schedule all pertinent data required to revise or update initial schedule. Revise <br />periodically, as required, to keep current with work. <br />b. Provide complete sequence of construction by activity. Show decision dates for: <br />products specified by allowance and selection of finishes. Show submittal dates and <br />dates reviewed copies will be required for shop drawings, project data and samples. <br />Show product procurement and delivery dates and dates for beginning and completion of <br />each e~ement of construction; specifically: concrete placement, subcontractor work, <br />equipment installation, equipment tests and Owner fumished equipment. <br />
