To summar¢e, they are <br />replacing the line items of canopies, bridges and arcade/pavilionlclock tower with an allowance of $160 per lineal foot for <br />a general weather protection allowance. County and Transit are free to augment that amount as needed. Consuftant <br />fees are a straight per centage of actual e~enditures. City staffwill review/approve all contracts, designs, etc., that our <br />funds are involved in. County/Transit responsibility for maintenance is no longer on the table. <br />I suggest we meet next week when Dick Hayden retums to go over the spec~cs of an agreement. If you like, I can send <br />you a copy of the last agreement we participated in - the skybridge between Liberty Plaza and J.C. Penney's. It was not <br />intergovemmental, but it might be useful as to content, format, etc. <br />I suggest we try to meet Monday aftemoon or Tuesday moming next week to get the ball rolling. I know you have a <br />deadline with the COPs and we don't want to slow that process down.
