2.5 Salvage and Recycling <br />Century West reviewed and coordinated the demolition salvage/recycling program <br />with Marion County Solid Waste and Staton Construction. <br />Century West monitored salvage and recycling revenue. <br />3.0 PROJECT STATUS AND SCHEDULE <br />The following reports describes the above listed activities. <br />3.1 Records Review <br />Century West reviewed the Project Specification's document for the demolition of all structures <br />bounded by Court Street, Church Street, Chemeketa and High Street in Salem, Oregon. Once the <br />review was complete, Century West prepared a checklist for the permits and submittals required, <br />based on the Demolition Specification requirements. <br />Upon review of the submittals and permits provided by Staton Construction, Century West noted <br />outstanding items. The outstanding items were listed and communicated to both Marion County <br />and Staton Construction via fax and letter. Marion County issued a notification to Staton <br />Construction to proceed on June 5, 1997. Marion County requested that Staton Construction <br />respond, in writing, to the outstanding Submittals requirements by June 11, 1997 (Appendix B, <br />Contract Submittals and Correspondence). <br />3.2 Work Schedule <br />Staton Construction submitted their work schedule in conformance with the project specifications <br />(Appendix C, Work Schedule). <br />3.3 Work Plan <br />Staton Construction submitted their work plan in conformance with the project specifications <br />(Appendix D, Work Plan). <br />4.0 SITE OPERATIONS <br />4.1 Weekly Meetings <br />Century West met with Marion County, Staton Construction and the Courthouse Square Design <br />Team throughout the demolition process, to keep all concerned current with the progress, <br />schedule and any issues which would impact the demolition project. <br />Dcmolition Management Page 3 C~6'EC 6/4/98 <br />CouRhouse Square Project 40806-001-22 <br />?viarion County <br />
