Demolition Plan <br />Courthouse Square <br />Salem, OR <br />This plan covers demolition activities for the above referenced project. <br />All hazardous materials will be removed prior to demolition. <br />The demolition is organized into three phases: <br />PHASE I <br />• A site specific safety plan (x] has [] has not, been prepared for this <br />project. <br />• All employees will attend a daily safety tailgate meeting. Activities, <br />hazards and accident prevention will be discussed. <br />• All utilities will be disconnected or removed prior to demolition. <br />• Building will be systematically disassembled and torn down utilizing heavy <br />equipment to minimize employee contact. <br />• Demolition material will be source separated on site for recycling or <br />disposal. <br />PHASE II <br />• All demolition material will be processed down to manageable sizes. <br />• Regulated demolition material will be loaded on to trucks for <br />transportation to a recycling facility or a licensed landfill. <br />PHASE III <br />• Concrete demolition material will be processed down for recycling or <br />disposed of in an approved, legal manner as fill material. <br />• Voids and depressions will be filled or smoothed. <br />• Utilities will be capped according to local authorities. <br />I certify that I have inspected the above referenced structure and find that it <br />is structurally sound for selective mechanical demolition activities. <br />2 ~L <br />Ron Richey Date <br />General Mgr. <br />Staton Const. <br />demoplan <br />
