The meeting was a weekly report by Staton on the overall progress and
status of the demolition project.
The meeting was attended by:
David Hartwig
Geoff Brown
Loni Richey
Kathleen Thorpe
Ron Barth
The following topics were discussed and are summarized as:
1. Demolition is pro r~ essin~pproximately 1 week ahead of schedule.
2. Demolition Recvclin~~is proceeding_at planned level. To date, 90% of demolition waste leaving the
site has been recycled. The remainder of waste generated at the site will be recycled, so the number
should just go up from here.
3. Ron Barth said that Staton can work around the monitoring wells, and that they can be
decommissioned at any time. Kathleen asked Ron to leave the asphalt surrounding the wells so the
drillers have a good surface to work on.
4. The footings bordering on the alley from the Community Development building may present a
potential problem for Staton. There are several possible utilities running directly along the footing
including: phone, power and sewer. The sewer line is believed to be at 15 feet in this area. Staton
will work very carefully in this area.
L E A D I N G T H R O U G H E F F E C 7 I V E S O L U T I O N S
1593 Clay Street NE Salem, Oregon 97301 Phone: (503) 540-0995 FAX: (503) 589-1657
