January 7, 1998 <br />Mr. David Hartwig, Manager <br />Marion County Risk Management <br />100 High Street NE <br />Salem, OR 97301 <br />RE: Schedule for Sewer Laterals Abandonment <br />Courthouse Square Demolition Project <br />Dear David: <br />The purpose of this letter is to advise you that Gelco Construction will be abandoning the sewer <br />laterals on the Courthouse Square project. Marion County has requested Century West sub- <br />--~ contract Gelco Services, Inc. to seal 17 abandoned sewer laterals identified by the City of Salem. <br />The work is scheduled to take place on December 29, 1997 from 7:00 PM until approximately <br />5:00 AM. Gelco will chemically grout/seal all seventeen (17) 4"-6" service laterals connected to <br />the 400 liner foot section of 10" diameter sanitary sewer mainline identified on the subject <br />property. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to present this information to you and Marion County.
