Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />9.Washes and vacuums vehicles after repairs and service; operates pressure washer to clean <br />miscellaneous equipment. <br />10.Cleans mechanics work bays on daily basis, which includes sweeping and cleaning floors to <br />prevent hazards. <br />11.Provides assistance with inventory count or equipment parts as needed. <br />12.Canvases neighborhoods checking for dog licensure; provides information to the public regarding <br />dog licenses; and may issue warnings for unlicensed dogs. <br />13.Assists with the Environmental Services, Metal Recovery Program related to the Screen Plant <br />operations. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Graduation from high school, or equivalent; AND <br />2.Some college level course work in mathematics, engineering, drafting, surveying or related area is <br />desirable for some positions; OR <br />3.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the <br />position. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Some positions in this classification may require possession of, or ability to obtain within 30 days <br />> <br />of hire, a valid Class C non-commercial Oregon driver's license. <br />Persons in this classification must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, and may <br />> <br />be required to pass a physical examination by a medical doctor. <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Ability to: work harmoniously with other employees; perform duties for extended periods of time, in all <br />kinds of weather; use hand and power tools and/or simple engineering instruments; make simple <br />mathematical computations and to keep accurate records; follow oral and written instructions accurately <br />and efficiently; physically conditioned which enables safe and timely completion of duties of the position. <br />ADOPTED: <br />03/88 <br />REVISED: <br />05/92; 02/99; 02/08; 10/10; 12/12 <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/4/2020 <br />
