<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Drug Treatment Case <br />Manager <br />Class Code: <br />536 <br />Bargaining Unit: 06 - Marion County Employees <br />Association <br />MARION COUNTY <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$16.69 - $22.33 Hourly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br /> Non-Exempt 05 ParaprofessionalsHealth and Human Services <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Assists and supports clients in county drug treatment programs in accessing community health and social <br />services; refers clients to appropriate resources; advocates to obtain required services as necessary; <br />provides information and education on health-related issues; performs other duties as required. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the general direction of a clinical supervisor who assigns work, establishes goals and <br />reviews the results obtained for overall effectiveness. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of positions in this class. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Support alcohol and drug treatment services through mentoring functions on an outpatient basis. <br />2.Meet with clients and/or family members on an individual basis to offer support, guidance, and <br />insight into treatment protocols and life's essential activities. <br />3.Be an on-call resource for clients and/or family members for crisis and support intervention as <br />needed within designated parameters. <br />4.Assist primary counselors with group facilitation as directed. <br />5.Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions under the direction of the clinical supervisor. <br />6.Conduct alcohol and drug testing including breathalyzer, urine testing, and oral testing. <br />7.Assess and develop levels of care for placement during the intake process under the direction of <br />the clinical supervisor and primary counselors. Maintains clinical records in accordance with <br />federal, state, county, and program requirements under the direction of the clinical supervisor. <br />8.Interviews clients, caregivers and family members to assess the general well-being and personal <br />and community support system of clients; reports to professional staff on the condition of clients. <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br /> <br />
