Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />7.Provides for integration and facilitation of client services to meet client and community needs; <br />identifies available or needed resources. <br />8.Provides training, assigns and reviews work, and prioritizes assignments for newly hired nurses <br />and student nurses as assigned; provides input to performance evaluations. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Associate's Degree, or diploma, in nursing, plus four (4) years of experience as a nurse in a public <br />health, social services, or community health setting; OR <br />2.Completion of a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, plus two (2) years of experience as a nurse in a <br />public health, social services, or community health setting. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Possession of a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Oregon at the time <br />> <br />of appointment. <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Considerable knowledge of: the practice of public health nursing; knowledge and considerable skill in the <br />use of community resources in supporting provision of public health services; knowledge of systems <br />development and utilization; <br />Working knowledge of: interprofessional relationships in the implementation of services. <br />Skill and ability in: interpersonal communications; development, analysis and evaluation of systems, and <br />development of comprehensive reports; accept and abide by supervision received; act as technical <br />resource to peers and others in the community; provide oversight and to coordinate programs, projects <br />and/or services; recognize the needs and concerns of people, while maintaining constructive therapeutic <br />relationships; clinic and service operations to improve the quality and/or delivery of client services. <br />ADOPTED: <br />10/75 <br />REVISED: <br />12/86; 02/93; 07/96; 06/05; 06/06; 10/16 <br />MARKET REVIEW: <br />01/06; 10/15; 10/16 <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/4/2020 <br />
