<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Health Clinical <br />Supervisor 1 <br />Class Code: <br />170 <br />Bargaining Unit: 02 - Supervisory <br />MARION COUNTY <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$2,420.80 - $3,240.80 Biweekly <br />$5,245.07 - $7,021.73 Monthly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br />Exempt02 ProfessionalsHealth and Human Services <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Position provides direct clinical supervision of a specific, well-defined health department service area. <br />Responsibilities include supervising staff and may include direct service delivery and include monitoring <br />of financial and operational performance of service area in collaboration with department management. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Position works under the general supervision of another health department supervisor or manager. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Exercises full supervision over non-supervisory staff, interns and volunteers as assigned. <br />DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS <br />Positions in this classification are typically first-level supervisors and are distinguished from higher level <br />supervisors by factors including, but not limited to: <br />Providing clinical support with limited, client and family support focus. <br />> <br />Working collaboratively under consultation to address limited, intra-program decisions. <br />> <br />Providing limited interface to workgroups or on case specific consultation. <br />> <br />Level and type of staff supervise <br />> <br />Scope of authority and limited programmatic decision making authority or responsibility. <br />> <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Responsible for clinical consultation: conducts clinical case review; develops clinical best practices <br />and standards; provides clinical consultation with department services and community providers <br />regarding specific client cases; monitors clinical progress. <br />2.Responsible for client service delivery: comply with payor requirements; ensures adherence to <br />service productivity policies and procedures; determines caseload and service <br />coverage/schedules. <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br /> <br />
