Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />9.Facilitates completion of client paperwork needed for job search and informational interviews (e.g., <br />resumes, applications, portfolios, etc.) both individually and in group settings. <br />10.Works collaboratively with other programs, staff members and community partners to improve <br />programs and curricula, expand services and assist in the successful operation of the program. <br />11.Facilitates workshops on a variety of work readiness and job search techniques. <br />12.Understands and collaborates effectively with a variety of clients, staff and the public from diverse <br />cultural, social, economic and educational backgrounds. <br />13.Assesses and screens clients to link them with appropriate employment, volunteer or work <br />experience opportunities, utilizing a variety of techniques and strategies to ensure successful <br />placement of clients. <br />14.Performs other related duties as assigned. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Associate degree with course work in social services, training and development, business <br />administration or a related field; AND <br />2.Work experience in training and development, recruitment, job skills assessment and development <br />or related experience;OR <br />3.Any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training relevant to the position. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENT <br />Must possess, or obtain within 30 days of hire, a valid Oregon driver's license.
