Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />5.Provides effective case management services, assisting family in connecting with supportive <br />resources to address needs that cannot be directly met within the program, such as financial, <br />vocational or educational services. <br />6.Maintains accurate and current case notes and case records as it applies to department <br />policy/therapeutic standards. <br />7.Establishes and maintains positive, effective, and professional working relationships with <br />coworkers, customers, and staff from other agencies. <br />8.Complies with county, department, program policies, procedures & protocols; HIPAA and ethical <br />guidelines. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Possession of a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or similar field; AND <br />2.One year post degree experience in the behavioral health field; OR <br />3.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience relevant to the <br />position. <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Working knowledge of mental health concepts, case management and treatment services; client <br />assessments, treatment planning and treatment protocols; family dynamics and behavioral family <br />therapy, an understanding of collaborative problem solving or similar concept. <br />Ability to work with high risk, resistant, reticent and fearful populations; establish positive working <br />relationships with clients (youth, parents, and family members), other employees, community partners <br />and the public; prepare concise and complete documentation related to client treatment and progress in <br />services in a timely and professional manner; work within a team and collaborate with team members; <br />Knowledge of and ability to act professionally with regard to a code of ethics and confidentiality. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Must possess or obtain, within 30 days of hire, a valid Oregon driver's license. Must possess, at <br />> <br />time of hire, and maintain an acceptable driver's record. <br />Possession of, or have the ability to obtain with 30 days of hire, a valid CPR/First Aid card. <br />> <br />Possession of, or have the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire, verification of current bloodborne <br />> <br />pathogen training. <br />Ability to pass a criminal history check and background investigation; this position may be <br />> <br />required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, including testing for marijuana.
