Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />5.Develops product implementation plans and schedules; determines resources and staffing needs; <br />coordinates allocation of resources and assignment of staff with IT management; tracks milestones <br />and documents issues. <br />6.Determines appropriate testing methodologies; determines product performance standards; <br />develops testing plans; compiles, analyzes, and reports on test data; performs technology <br />assessments, prototyping, benchmarking, porting/migration assistance, and configuration <br />management. <br />7.Performs other duties as assigned. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Six (6) years of increasingly responsible information technology experience, of which a degree in <br />computer science or related field may be substituted for two (2) years experience; AND <br />2.Two (2) years team lead or equivalent experience in I.T., which may be concurrent with other <br />experience; OR <br />3.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the <br />position. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Must possess a current driver's license in the applicant's state of residence and an acceptable <br />> <br />driving history. <br />Must possess and maintain proof of personal automobile liability insurance, at a minimum, in the <br />> <br />amount required by Oregon Law (ORS Chapter 806). <br />May be required to pass a criminal history background check. <br />> <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Knowledge of: operation and integration of hardware and software-based test systems and <br />methodologies; applications and other systems; hardware and software diagnostic and corrective <br />methodologies; hardware platforms and technologies including servers and storage devices for <br />integration, performance, problem diagnosis, and resolution; cost/benefit analysis, research methods, and <br />report preparation; methods of project planning and management; data base management principles and <br />techniques. <br />Skill and ability to: communicate effectively both orally and in writing; clearly convey technical and <br />complex information; assign tasks and direct work; establish and maintain cooperative working <br />relationships. <br />ADOPTED: <br />10/08 <br />REVISED: <br />02/16 <br />MARKET REVIEW: <br />11/17 <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br />
