<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Electrician 2 <br />Class Code: <br />497 <br />Bargaining Unit: 06 - Marion County Employees <br />Association <br />MARION COUNTY <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$29.72 - $39.82 Hourly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br />Non-Exempt 07 Skilled Craft Business Services <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Performs skilled electrical installation, maintenance and repair work for county buildings and equipment; <br />performs related building maintenance work as required. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, who determines goals and reviews work for <br />conformance to standards. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision is not a responsibility of positions in this class; however, acts as lead worker over lower <br />grade electricians and work crews. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />May perform any of the duties of the Electrician 1 class in this job series, but distinguished by a primary <br />focus on the duties listed below. <br />1.Provides training, assigns and reviews work, and prioritizes assignments for electrical workers; <br />provides input to performance evaluations; arranges for work coverage during absences; provides <br />backup support to staff as needed. <br />2.Assists in designing and provides estimates for small electrical construction projects and <br />improvements <br />3.Applies for electrical permits and performs the associated calculations. <br />4.Supports and facilitates the department's mission to provide efficient, responsive and quality <br />service to customers and clients. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Graduation from high school; AND <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br /> <br />
