Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />2.Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience performing general electrical repair work; OR <br />3.Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the <br />position. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Must possess, or obtain within 30 days of hire, a valid Class C Oregon driver's license. (May be <br />> <br />modified under exceptional circumstances.) <br />Possession of a valid Oregon General Supervisor Electrician's License. <br />> <br />Must be able to distinguish color-coded cables. <br />> <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Extensive knowledge of: electrical systems, and the repair of heating and cooling systems found in large <br />commercial and public buildings; safety procedures and tools used in the repair of electrical systems. <br />Ability and skill to: design and estimate small electrical construction projects; calculate load and circuit <br />calculations; plan and organize work; work from written and oral instructions; read and understand <br />electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams; perform skilled tasks in the repair of <br />electrical systems; use and operate hand and mechanical tools necessary to building maintenance; <br />develop, establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with other employees, <br />tenants, the public and other agencies; provide training to others; give and prioritize work assignments; <br />operate a computer; operate a motor vehicle. <br />ADOPTED: <br />10/88 <br />REVISED: <br />10/90; 08/94; 08/95; 01/97; 02/06 <br />MARKET REVIEW: <br />02/06; 04/18 <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br />
