Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />6.Provides advice and guidance to individuals with limited plumbing skills to assist such persons in <br />complying with applicable codes. <br />7.Appears in court when the occasion warrants it to testify regarding plumbing installations. <br />8.Extensive driving, possibly up to 200 miles per day. <br />9.Investigates complaints and inspects existing plumbing systems and appliances to deter-mine if <br />hazardous or illegal conditions are present. <br />10.Prepares written reports; issues notices to correct violations; issues "stop work" notices. <br />11.Provides plumbing code training to other department personnel. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Possess State of Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code Inspector Certification <br />2.Possess at time of hire an Oregon Inspector Certification; or an Authorization to Perform Work <br />from the Oregon Buildings Code Division within 30 days and obtain a valid Oregon Inspector <br />Certification within six (6) months. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Must possess, or obtain within 30 days of hire, a valid Oregon driver's license.
