The proposed system stakeout has been approved and installation plans <br /> have been approved as submitted. Please refer to the signed approved site plan dated January <br /> 16, 2019. Any deviation from the approved plans must be authorized by this office prior to <br /> installation or the permit may be voided. The required inspection schedule is attached to this <br /> permit. It's the responsibility of applicant/installer to coordinate these requirements with all others <br /> in OAR 340-071-0220. <br /> This Permit is for a septic system designed to serve an agricultural processing facility with up to ten <br /> employees. Waste water from processing is disposed of separately. Peak sewage flow into the <br /> system is limited to a maximum of 150 gallons per day, with an average sewage flow of not more <br /> than 75 gallons per day. Premature failure of the treatment system may occur if either of these <br /> flow quantities is exceeded. If, for some reason, you expect your water use may exceed these <br /> flows, it is advisable to increase the size of the treatment system. <br /> Specific Requirements <br /> ATT Pretreatment Unit: AX2ORTN Treatment Standard 1 as per approved attached plan. <br /> SERVICE CONTRACTS: The owner of an ATT system must maintain a service contract with a <br /> maintenance provider certified by the manufacturer to service and maintain the onsite system. A <br /> service contract must be entered into before the system is installed and must be maintained until <br /> the system is decommissioned. The service contract must provide for a minimum of four <br /> inspections and service visits by a maintenance provider scheduled once every six months over a <br /> two-year period to inspect, adjust, and service the ATT. The septic tank must be pumped before <br /> solids reach 30% of the tank liquid operating level. The maintenance provider must submit an <br /> annual report and fee. Please review OAR 340-071-0345 for full requirements. <br /> TANK RISER: The tank must be installed with watertight risers extending to the ground surface or <br /> above. The riser lid must be gasketed and securely fastened. <br /> ANTI-BUOYANCY is required for septic tank installation at this site. See manufacturer's <br /> specifications for anti-buoyancy. <br /> DRY SOIL CONDITIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION (March 1 —October 31) The <br /> geographical area in which the property lies is considered a risk to installation during winter <br /> months. Soil moisture conditions generally preclude construction of the drainfield in the winter <br /> months. <br /> GRAVELLESS ABSORPTION TRENCHES ARE REQUIREDas part of this installation. Hole <br /> spacing in the pressure distribution piping will be 24 inches on center or less. A minimum 2-foot <br /> squirt height is required at the remotest orifice.
