The application is for a 4-bedroom replacement dwelling from the existing 3- <br /> bedroom dwelling. The existing system design is not adequate and must be replaced. A Major <br /> Alteration permit is required. <br /> Approved Area& System Type <br /> Soil test pits and other site features were evaluated during the site visit on May 18, 2016, 2016. The <br /> conditions observed during this site evaluation indicate that the area around the evaluated test holes is <br /> CAPABLE of supporting a STANDARD SEPTIC SYSTEM for the INITIAL and for the REPAIR. The <br /> installation must follow the approved stakeout . The Please refer to the signed approved site plan <br /> August 30, 2016. Any deviation from the approved plans must be authorized by this office prior to <br /> installation or the permit may be voided <br /> This site is approved for the type of disposal system described above. Peak sewage flow into the system <br /> is limited to a maximum of 450 gallons per day, with an average sewage flow of not more than 225 <br /> gallons per day. Premature failure of the treatment system may occur if either of these flow quantities is <br /> exceeded. If,for some reason,you expect your domestic household water use may exceed these flows, it <br /> may be advisable to increase the size of the treatment system. <br /> System specifications: <br /> SEPTIC TANK: Minimum 1000 gallons <br /> DOSING TANK: Minimum 500 gallons <br /> DRAINFIELD: Standard trenches with Equal Distribution <br /> Length: 450 lineal feet <br /> Depth: minimum 18"; maximum 18" <br /> DRAINAGE from all ground surfaces, roads, driveways and building downspouts must be directed <br /> away from the drainfield area. <br /> AN EFFLUENT LIFT PUMP WILL BE REQUIRED to install the septic system disposal field in the <br /> approved area and at the required depth.
