<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Developmental <br />Disabilities Associate 2 <br />Class Code: <br />562 <br />Bargaining Unit: 06 - Marion County Employees <br />Association <br />MARION COUNTY <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$22.23 - $29.79 Hourly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br /> Non-Exempt 05 ParaprofessionalsHealth and Human Services <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Facilitates intake and eligibility determination for applying individuals; conducts independent functional <br />needs assessments; and, plans and carries out case management functions and other related work as <br />required. Primary responsibility of this class is case management, facilitating intake and eligibility <br />determination and administration of Functional Needs Assessments. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under supervision of a Clinical Supervisor who assigns work, establishes goals, and reviews the <br />results obtained for overall effectiveness. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of others is not a responsibility of positions in this classification. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Facilitates intake and eligibility for individual applying for Intellectual and Developmental Disability <br />(I/DD) services. <br />2.Conducts required functional needs assessment(s) to determine individual eligibility and service <br />needs. <br />3.Facilitates provider rate assessments and monitors Department funded services provided to <br />individuals enrolled in I/DD services. <br />4.Performs primary case management services, authorize and monitor individual service plans for <br />individuals enrolled in I/DD services I/DD services. <br />5.Facilitates person centered individual service planning with individual/guardian, family members, <br />friends and other community providers or agencies. <br />6.Maintains case files, client electronic record, and other required documentation; documents billable <br />service in progress notes. <br />7.Participates in functional behavior assessment and positive behavior support planning. <br />8.May occasionally provide technical assistance support and training to I/DD funded service <br />providers, new DDA2 peers, and families of individuals enrolled in I/DD services. <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br /> <br />
