Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />9.Coordinates response to individual-emergent need /situations i.e., contacts appropriate specialist <br />for assessment, resources, and placement. <br />10.Works within a team and collaborates with other team members. <br />11.May represent the agency on community committees as requested by the supervisor. <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: <br />EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING <br />1.Any satisfactory combination of five (5) years of education in a related field and/or <br />paraprofessional experience/training consisting of serving individuals with a primary diagnosis of <br />developmental disabilities within a residential, employment or case management service at a <br />management or case management level; AND <br />2.Knowledge of the public service system for developmental disability services in Oregon. <br />SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Some positions in this classification may require special certification and/or successful completion <br />> <br />of Core Competencies as per current Oregon Administrative Rule prior to performing job duties. <br />Some positions in this classification may require possession and ability to maintain, at time of <br />> <br />application, a valid Class C Oregon driver's license and acceptable driving record. <br />For positions in this classification requiring a valid Class C Oregon driver's license, must possess <br />> <br />and maintain proof of personal automobile liability insurance, at a minimum, in the amount required <br />by Oregon Law \[ORS 806\]. <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />Working knowledge of: developmental disability concepts, public service system for intellectual and <br />developmental disability services in Oregon, including the Oregon Office of Developmental Disability <br />Services structure, and related agency functioning; other social service agencies in the community. <br />Advanced skill in: Coordinating and/or providing services to individuals with intellectual or developmental <br />disabilities or another similar population. <br />Ability to: establish good working relationships with other employees, other agencies, and the public; <br />prepare concise reports and document individual services in a timely and professional manner; <br />Knowledge of and ability to act professionally in regard to a code of ethics and confidentiality. <br />ADOPTED: <br />03/04 <br />REVISED: <br />05/07; 06/13; 07/20 <br />MARKET REVIEW: <br />07/20 <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br />
